- First of all you must know your target and where it will be shown!

- Concentrate the animations in one part of it, and make them simple, if the site when it will be show it is also a great idea to make it a static banner.

- It must not have more than 5 seconds of animation, or the user wont see the complete add.

- Don't make long texts! Using graphic representations many times is better than using text!

- Use relevant text!
Only use words that are very important to your site on the banner!

- Never use fonts smaller than 12 dots. Watch for the font style and color (it must be clear and sharp).

- If necessary use antialiasing (but it will make your file bigger)

- Use loop on it so that the animation is played more than once.

- Don't resize it!
If you have made a 468*60 banner don't just resize it to have a 120*60 or 88*31, make a new one and re-locate the objects and the animations! This way you will get a much better result!

- Spell check!
Silly mistakes/typos make you look like a clown!

- Make original banners!
D on't take a banner form other sites and modify it to make it your own.

- Use the images that you will have on your site!
Don't try to fool your clients/costumers, if they note that what you show on your banner is not what you have on your site they wont stay on it for much time ( you will get lots of clicks but they wont convert )

- Have a top quality site to direct the banners traffic!
If your site it not as good as your banner it wont work either.
get as many links to your site as possible (on site that are related with yours!)

- Banners Size (in kb)!
Don't make banners bigger than 15kb, or they will take too long to load and the surfer wont wait until it loads!

- People like to do things they are not supposed to!
So one of the best ways to get clicks is saying to your surfer that they shouldn't click on it! it really works!!
